What to Know When Bringing Your Vehicle to Charleston Supercar

At Charleston Supercar, we want your visit to be smooth, professional, and stress-free. To ensure your vehicle is handled with precision from the moment you arrive, please review the drop-off guidelines below.

Before You Arrive

1. Bring Your Primary Key Fob or Smart Key

We require the main key for all diagnostics, programming, lift procedures, and road testing. Please remove unnecessary accessories if possible.

 

2. Remove Personal Belongings

Your vehicle may move between service bays, lifts, staging areas, and the showroom. We ask that valuables, firearms, and loose personal items be removed prior to drop-off.

 

3. Know Your Appointment Details

Upon arrival, we’ll verify your contact information, service request, and any concerns or symptoms you’d like us to inspect.

When You Arrive

1. Park Under the Charleston Supercar Sign

Please park your vehicle in the designated customer spaces directly beneath the Charleston Supercar sign at the front of the building. These spaces are reserved for drop-offs and pickups.

 

2. Check In at the Front Desk

Enter through the main entrance and check in with a staff member. We’ll confirm your appointment and begin the intake process right away.

 

3. We Perform a Full Video Walk-Around

Every vehicle receives a high-definition video walk-around at write-up. This includes:

  • Exterior condition

  • Interior condition

  • Wheels and tires

  • Noting pre-existing scrapes, chips, or imperfections

  • Mileage, VIN, and fuel level documentation

This level of documentation protects you and ensures complete transparency about your vehicle’s condition from start to finish.

 

4. Review of Your Service Request

We will go over all concerns, symptoms, noises, performance issues, or specific instructions you’d like addressed.
Nothing is rushed — we take the time to understand your vehicle properly.

During Your Appointment

1. Communication & Authorization

We will contact you with updates, findings, and approval requests.
No repairs are performed without your authorization.

 

2. SMS/Text Updates

Text communication is available through our shop software once your repair order is active.
Please note: our main phone number may not receive monitored texts.

 

3. Vehicle Security and Storage

While your vehicle is in our care, it benefits from:

  • 24/7 monitored security

  • HD cameras

  • Restricted access zones

  • Controlled key handling

  • Indoor overnight storage for high-value vehicles*

 

*High-value vehicles, sports cars, and supercars are stored indoors overnight. During business hours, some vehicles may be staged outside temporarily to maintain workflow.

Pick-Up Expectations

1. Bring Your ID and Payment Method

All invoices must be paid in full before releasing the vehicle.

 

2. Walk-Through of Services Performed

We will review:

  • Work completed

  • Parts used

  • Future maintenance or recommendations

  • Any inspection findings

  • Any questions you may have

 

3. Digital Documentation

You’ll receive a digital copy of your invoice, inspection results, and any photos or videos taken during the service.
